About Our Company
In ancient times, the world’s most gifted healers were bound to serve only the noble and elite, forbidden to share their knowledge with ordinary people. But two healers from very different corners of the world believed that the wisdom of herbalism belonged to all. To live by that truth, they each fled their homelands, determined to teach and heal without prejudice.
One journeyed from the central plains of Ancient China to the lush jungles of Borneo, while the other traveled from the coastal lands of Kerala, India (home to some of the oldest systems of medicine), to the rainforests of the Amazon. Across continents and generations, their families carried forward this shared calling:

Centuries later, both bloodlines found their way to the West Coast of Canada. In the summer of 1997, their descendants met – not in a temple or a market, but over a conversation about mushrooms. That moment sparked the beginnings of what would grow into our community today.
